English as an Additional Language (EAL) Support

We have many families joining our community throughout the year. We have a diverse community, with many families recently moving to Australia. We pride ourselves in having an inclusive, friendly and caring community.

New students’ progress is monitored by teachers and the Student Wellbeing Officer to ensure a successful transition into our school. Students are assigned a ‘buddy’ from their class to show them around the school and support them whilst playing in the yard. Parents are welcome to regularly make contact with teachers and staff to track the progress of their child.
